Since 2008, TalentEgg has helped millions of students and recent grads hatch their careers, and worked with hundreds of Canadian employers to successfully attract top Gen Y talent to join their organizations.

You'll find meaningful, career-launching jobs from top employers in Canada on TalentEgg, of course. But you'll also find thousands of free career resources created specifically with students and recent grads in mind, as well as an active and diverse community of people who are passionate about improving youth employment in Canada, including employers, career centres, educators, parents, and students and recent graduates themselves.

Whether you're looking for a job, trying to figure out how to prepare for a job interview or hoping to ask an employer important questions that will help you with your career, you can find it all on TalentEgg.

What TalentEgg Is Looking For

Ready to start creating your Challenge submission? Great! Here are some things our judges will be grading your proposal on:

  • Does it align with our current brand? Think outside the box and be creative but stay consistent with the current messaging. Yes the egg is staying in the rebrand.
  • Is it well- researched? Your submission should show that you understand the TalentEgg market, tactics and approaches, and the organization (TalentEgg) itself.
  • Is it feasible? It’s not enough to put together a unique proposal. Be sure that your strategy is well thought out and realistic for the organization.
  • Is it well-presented? We’re expecting Challenge participants to conduct themselves like professional consultants – your submission should be polished and free of spelling and grammatical errors. The information should also flow in a logical fashion, so there’s no confusion for the recipient. It also doesn’t hurt to add some visual components!

Each area will be weighted equally in value (25% each) during the evaluation process.

Your submission can include written proposals, visual diagrams, videos – anything that conveys your strategy best! Please upload your project as a PDF doc (Powerpoint presentations work well!). Any additional features (i.e. videos) should be hosted externally and linked through the submission document.
